Right now I am doing distance education and traditional, so pretty much with the distance learning, I can pause the recording, and jot down a couple of notes if I need to. In a traditional classroom, if you try and stop a teacher too many times, some students will hate you for it. Basically, distance learning requires more discipline as well, so it isn't easy, but the advantage is convenience. At your convenience you can hit play-stop-rewind.
